Flooring consultants act like guides, supplying our customers with information to help them make smart decisions about their flooring installation.

Preparing For Your Consultation

When a flooring consultant comes to your home, you’ll want to get the most from the experience. To make the most of your time with the consultant, consider the following questions beforehand:

  • Which rooms of my home need new flooring? You may come to change your mind during your meeting with the flooring consultant, but knowing ahead of time which rooms in your home need new flooring will give you a good starting point.
  • Why am I replacing my flooring? Sometimes, homeowner motivation affects the type of flooring they choose to install. For example, homeowners hoping to increase property value and sell their home in the near future may select hardwood flooring or a neutral carpeting that’s likely to appeal to a range of buyers. Homeowners who wish to match their carpet to a new furniture set or who seek to redesign their homes in a way that is more personalized may pick a very different type of flooring.

For this reason, we recommend coming to our showroom before your in-home consultation. Although our flooring consultant may present you with ideas you would never have considered, you’ll get the most out of your time with the consultant if you disclose your tastes in advance.

During Your Consultation

During your meeting, the flooring consultant will show you a variety of samples, take measurements and discuss the best options for your home and budget. Our portfolio includes a variety of flooring types, from hardwood flooring, to carpets, to tile, vinyl and laminate. We’ll help you pick patterns and colors for carpets, wood species and board width for hardwood floors, size and material type for tile floors.

We’ll also discuss financing options, and tell you more about our healthier living installation. When the meeting is over, you’ll have all the information you need to move forward with your flooring installation.
